Former Arsenal defender Viv Anderson admits moving to Manchester United was a boyhood dream fulfilled. At 16-years-old he spent every single school holiday training for the club and dreamed of turning professional there but at the time there were too many England and Scotland internationals in the first team and he signed for Nottingham Forest.Anderson, 56, told the Daily Mail: “I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else in the country. It was a no-brainer when I got the call. If I was 60 and in a wheelchair and got the opportunity I would take it.”I was offered a contract to stay at Arsenal but I couldn’t accept it.
